Branding - involves creating a unique name and image for a product (goods or service) in the consumers' mind through marketing and advertising campaigns with a consistent theme.

Brochure site - an information-only site that provides visitors with information about the business, including contact details, address, information on service and or products and special offers etc.

Browser/web browser - a software application which displays websites and web pages. It is the window you use to navigate the Internet.

Ecommerce – short for electronic commerce, meaning any sale/purchase that takes place over the Internet.  Products are tangible or electronic downloadable.

GB (Gigabyte)
10GB is ten gigabytes. 1024 megabytes. Commonly rounded down to one billion bytes.

MB (Megabyte)
10MB is ten megabytes. 1024 kilobytes. Commonly rounded down to one million bytes.

Multimedia
In web terms: A presentation combining text with pictures, video, or sound.

PDF (Portable Document Format)
A document file format developed by Adobe. Most often used for text documents.

URL (Uniform Resource Locator) A web address. The standard way to address web documents (pages) on the Internet, for example: http://www.vividwebsites.com.au
